My sister Jo made a bottle of sloe gin, and a bottle of sloe vodka back in October, giving it enough time for the sloes to steep in the alcohol and share their lovely pink colour, just in time for Christmas divilment. It's lovely on ice, with a splash of icy cold tonic, or to give (grudgingly) as a present.
